Dr. Sriram Suryanarayan, Ph.D., PMP, is a seasoned leader and innovator with over 25 years of experience in the technical fields of nuclear waste management and decommissioning, nuclear power plant chemistry control, and process development for various stages of the nuclear fuel cycle. As the Director of Innovation at Kinectrics Inc., Sriram oversees the company’s innovation program, which spans a wide range of technical areas, including artificial intelligence, advanced materials and manufacturing, augmented, virtual and mixed reality, novel inspection technologies, fusion and medical radioisotopes.

Sriram’s contributions to the field of radioactive waste management are numerous and ground-breaking. He has played a critical role in developing innovative processes for the management of problematic radioactive and mixed waste and has led projects for Canadian and international utilities and facilities. His work has been recognized with numerous awards and accolades, including the “Innovative Achievement Award” on Waste Management from the Canadian Nuclear Society and the Canadian Nuclear Association.
